Privacy Policy — Ratudan Survivors
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This policy explains what data the game Ratudan Survivors ("the Game") uses, in all its versions (browser, desktop, Android, Discord Activity and CrazyGames). The data controller is Rodrigo Antunes, Lisbon, Portugal — contact: rodrigoka4@gmail.com.
1. Data we collect
- Account identifier: a random user ID created by Google Firebase Authentication, even when you play as a guest.
- E-mail address: only if you choose to sign in with e-mail/password or with Google (in that case Google shares your e-mail and basic profile with Firebase).
- Nickname: guests get an automatic nickname (for example "Swift Capybara 42") that you can change at any time; with an account, the name you choose. Nicknames are checked by a filter for offensive words.
- Game data: scores, run results (time survived, kills, level, weapons, cards, whether you won, game mode), the platform where the run was played (e.g. browser, Android, Discord, CrazyGames), unlocked items, cards and achievements.
- Local save: progress and settings are stored in your browser/device storage (localStorage).
We do not collect payment data, precise location, contacts, microphone or camera. The Game has no third-party analytics, and no ads except in the CrazyGames version, where ads are shown by CrazyGames (see below).
2. Discord Activity
When you play inside Discord, the Game does not request any Discord OAuth permission and does not read your Discord profile, friends, messages or voice. Discord itself processes data under its own privacy policy. Network requests from the Activity pass through Discord's proxy.
3. CrazyGames
On CrazyGames there is no external login: everyone plays as a guest. If you are logged in to CrazyGames, your CrazyGames username is used once as your nickname (you can change it). CrazyGames may save your progress with their account system and shows ads through their own SDK, under the CrazyGames privacy policy.
4. How we use it
- to save your progress in the cloud and restore it on other devices;
- to show the public global leaderboards — guests included (nickname, score, time, mode, platform and run summary are public);
- to prevent cheating and keep the Game working.
Legal basis (GDPR): performance of the service you requested and our legitimate interest in running a fair ranking. We never sell your data.
5. Where it is stored
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), which may process it outside the EU under Google's standard contractual clauses. The website is hosted on Vercel. Each service has its own privacy policy.
6. Retention and your rights
Data is kept while your account exists. You can ask to access, correct or delete your data (including your ranking entries) by e-mailing rodrigoka4@gmail.com with your nickname. Clearing your browser data removes the local save. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD).
7. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated; the date above shows the latest version.
