Terms of Service — BibleTrend

These terms apply to the app BibleTrend ("the App"), developed by Rodrigo Antunes (PixelPerBits, Lisbon, Portugal), in its Android versions (BibleTrend, free with ads, and BibleTrend Pro, without ads) and in the browser. By using the App you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. The App

The App lets you read the Bible as a feed of verses and chapter by chapter, save verses and notes, follow reading plans and take part in a weekly reading ranking. It is provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use. Features may change, be reset or be removed in future versions.

2. Account

Some features require signing in with Google. You are responsible for your Google account. You can sign out or delete your account at any time in the "Me" tab; deleting it erases your progress permanently.

3. Nickname and ranking

Your nickname and avatar are visible to other users in the weekly ranking. Do not use offensive nicknames, other people's names or personal data. The ranking counts chapters marked as read; to keep it fair, the App only lets you mark a chapter after reading it to the end. We may remove nicknames or ranking entries that break these rules or that come from abuse or automated use, and the ranking restarts every week.

4. Bible text and translations

The Portuguese text is the Almeida translation. The other languages (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Hindi and Indonesian) are automatic translations of the Portuguese text and may contain errors; they are not official translations and should not be used as a reference for study or quotation without checking a recognized edition. The Bible texts belong to their respective rights holders.

5. Ads and purchases

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. BibleTrend Pro has no ads; if it is sold, the purchase is processed by Google Play under its own terms and refund policy.

6. Intellectual property

The App's code, design, icons, layout and original content belong to Rodrigo Antunes. You may share verses and screenshots of the App, but you may not copy, extract or redistribute its files or databases.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the App is provided without warranties of any kind, and the developer is not liable for any loss of progress or data, interruptions of the online features or other damages arising from its use or unavailability.

8. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the App means you accept it. Questions: rodrigoka4@gmail.com.
