Privacy Policy — Rodents Chess

Last updated: October 10, 2026

This policy explains what data the game Rodents Chess ("the Game") uses, in all its versions: browser (antunescode.com, itch.io), CrazyGames and Windows. The data controller is Rodrigo Antunes, Lisbon, Portugal — contact: rodrigoka4@gmail.com.

1. Data we collect

  • Local save: your match settings (mode, difficulty, clock), the player names you type, the local leaderboard (who won, against whom, match time and number of moves) and your language and sound settings. They are stored only on your device (browser localStorage or the app's storage).

The Game has no accounts, no login, no online leaderboard, no analytics and no tracking. Nothing you type is sent to any server. We do not collect your e-mail, location, contacts, microphone or camera. There are no ads, except in the CrazyGames version (see below).

2. CrazyGames

On CrazyGames the Game uses the CrazyGames SDK: your settings and local leaderboard are saved with CrazyGames' data system (in your CrazyGames account if you are logged in, otherwise in your browser), and ads may be shown by CrazyGames between matches. This is processed by CrazyGames under its own privacy policy. The Game does not send any data to other servers.

3. How we use it

Only to keep your settings and match history between sessions on your device. We never sell or share your data.

4. Retention and your rights

Clearing your browser or app data deletes everything; you can also use "Clear leaderboard" inside the Game. Questions: rodrigoka4@gmail.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Portugal, the CNPD).

5. Children

The Game is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal data. If you type real names on the scoreboard, they stay only on your own device.

6. Changes

This policy may be updated; the date above shows the latest version.
