BibleTrend and GameBubble: PixelPerBits’ two Android apps

A Bible app in feed format and an indie games platform, both with a free APK to download.

Not everything the studio makes is a game. Two Android apps have their own page, and the apps list is separate from the games list.

BibleTrend: the Bible as a feed

BibleTrend shows one verse per screen, like short videos, and also has the whole Bible, with all 66 books, a read-chapter mark and the progress of each book. You can highlight verses with colours, write notes and save them into topics. The reading planner brings a daily goal, streaks and plans, such as the Gospels in 30 days or the Bible in 1 year, plus a weekly ranking.

Without an account you can already read, browse the feed and share. A Google account is for saving everything in the cloud, marking chapters and joining the ranking. The app is in eight languages.

GameBubble: the TikTok of indie games

GameBubble is a platform I created and a PixelPerBits partner: a vertical feed of HTML5 games from independent creators. You swipe through previews, tap and the game opens right inside the app. Creators can publish a game by uploading a .zip or a single .html file (up to 50 MB) or pasting an embed link, such as itch.io, with a cover video of up to 20 seconds.

Every game is checked by moderators before it goes live, with an age rating, and there are 55 achievements, weekly challenges and leaderboards. The free Android app (with ads) can already be downloaded; the GameBubble website is still coming soon.
