Screen Simulator: test your site on 31 screens at once
Perfect in Chrome and broken on a phone? A free app and an extension that show your site on dozens of screens side by side.
Almost every developer has been there: the site is perfect on the desktop and something breaks on a phone. Testing on real devices one by one is slow, and resizing the browser window does not reproduce everything. That is where Screen Simulator came from.
Many devices at once
There are 31 devices, from the iPhone SE to the 16 Pro Max, including Galaxy, Pixel, Xiaomi, foldables, iPads and desktop, plus custom sizes. The grid shows every screen together, or you focus on a single one at real size. Clicks, typed text and scrolling repeat on all of them.
Close to a real phone
- +It shows the real Safari and Chrome bars, so you see what 100vh hides on a phone.
- +It emulates the phone: user agent, touch, hover: none, pointer: coarse and no 15px desktop scrollbar.
- +It warns about the classic mistakes: a missing meta viewport, overflowing content and inputs that zoom on iPhone.
There are two ways to use it. The free app (Windows, macOS and Ubuntu/Linux) opens the site on your real phone via QR code, in other browsers such as Firefox and WebKit and with Google login. The Chrome extension works on any site, right in the browser, without installing anything in the project. It works with localhost and any address.
