Pirate Rush: a pirate ship in an endless sea, and Survival mode

A vertical 3D shmup where bosses come back stronger every time, and a second game in the Vampire Survivors style with the same ship.

Pirate Rush came from a list of ideas made with Kenney art kits. The chosen one was a pirate ship in an endless sea: you dodge rocks, sink boats, collect coins and face captains who come back stronger every round. The 3D models come from the Pirate Kit.

Two looks in one game

In normal play the camera is high, the sea is bright and the HUD is pill-shaped. When a boss shows up, the camera moves behind the ship and the sky turns to sunset, so the time of day seems to change. There is a crew that walks and talks, hearts (with a golden heart) and a fleet of four escort types, each with its own boat, health and lines.

Ads with a clear rule

There are no ads on the web version or in the Pro editions. Only the free Android version has a rewarded ad to revive when you die, and only if you have no lifebuoy, an item you start with one of, that shows up now and then, drops from bosses and can be bought.

Pirate Rush: Survival

The second game uses the same ship in another style, the Vampire Survivors one: you sail freely, the cannons aim by themselves at the boats surrounding you, and the world drifts opposite to the ship. You collect coins and powers while you survive.

An honest note: difficulty balance was only checked with a simple autopilot bot, so both games still need testing with real people. That is why they are marked as work in progress.
